visors in the UK?
I've spent some time searching the forums looking to see if there is anywhere based in the UK that provide a good visor to use and it's pretty much US based firms only. Does anyone know any UK alternatives? It's so bad here so help me god I have a flimsy green acetate sheet ready to do it's dishonourable thing.

Re: visors in the UK?
You can get a Shade 4 welding visor from any good welding supplier. Just check the yellow pages ;)

Re: visors in the UK?
Do they have yellow pages on the other side of the pond?
I ordered mine from RJSafety.com, part HF-4178-DRK
They are a little backlogged right now though I think cause of the fires down in Cali which is where they are located.

Re: visors in the UK?
natty,I wish it were that simple but every type of welding mask I've come across from UK suppliers is of the 4"x3" variety. I've yet to find anything vaguely suitable.
UKscout you about? I haven't heard anything, maybe you didn't get my pm or I fluffed my email addy?
