Visor Alternative

This may have been covered before, if so just ignore me I'm new here. I am currently working on a scratchbuilt Boba from wof templates and I'm also fixing up a Rubies just because I'm tired of looking at it in it's unaltered state. Anyway, everyone says that the visor of choice is either a face sheild from Harbor Freight or T-visor. However, I was thinking about using the clear plastic that comes with the cheap 16x20 frames you can buy at Wal Mart. They are relatively durable, but I'm not sure if they will work. Can you put tinting film on them? How do they react to various adhesives? All your input and experience is needed and appreciated.

I have used window tinting on plastic material in the past to use for visors and lenses. I have not had a problem. The mirror tint for clones is a neat touch. You won't know until you try it :D
