Does anyone know where can I pick up a visor at a brick and mortar? Anyone know any stores that might sell the visors?
Thanks!

However i have seen pics from CIV where it looked green. My thought it is was damaged at one point and replaced with a green one....just what i could think of why it seems green in more recent shots. In the promo shots taken during ESB i posted above, it looks grey/smoke.

trolling? lol

Look at the pics i posted..they were taken either during or around the same time ESB was filmed..those shots it looks pretty grey to me.

The video you posted is recent .Pics from CIV it looks green as well...so anything after that it will likely be green. Again..this is speculation...but i think it was replaced at one point and it is green now, but during filming it was smoke/grey. Been trying to find a screen cap during filming to confirm, but its near impossible. All the pics from CIV or other museum tours are more recent than 1979/1980. Its very plausible that the visor was replaced between 1980 and now. It could have been broken or damaged at any point. We all already know there is more damage on the helmet now than was originally put on the helmet in 1979, why would it seem far fetched that the visor was damaged and replaced?

whatever they prefer. Proof vs speculation. When watching ESB I thought it was grey too but I see green with the the recent material so I guess it might depend on the time period. Does it matter? I don't think so really. I personally use grey because looking through green is less satisfying than grey.

Well of course, to each their own, but this is the question that was presented. I would think Mjolner wants to know what color it actually was. From the promo shots at the time of filming it looks grey to me..thats not speculating, thats what i see. Like you said, recently it does look green, thats also not speculation, i see that as well. Which is where my theory of it being replaced comes from. Does it matter, no, your right, it doesnt, but i was trying to answer the question that was asked to the best of my knowledge and what i see in photos from the time of filming. I also prefer grey myself. I posted photos so Mjolner can come to his own conclusion from the photos i posted and the ones in the gallery here :)

This just came to mind as I'm reading this. I thought there was a screen shot from ESB where boba is outside, I think while Han is being loaded up where you can see the color of the visor. Ill look for it. But if I remember right I think that's where people came to the conclusion of what color it was.

It was this one. I remember it being more definitive than this. My bad. I tried to help. I can't tell.

It looks green in the CIV pictures but if you look toward the bottom of this image at the bottom of the T it looks similar to the promo photos.

I'm sending Gino over here. Let's let him tell us 100%
He did indeed think it was green just like most of us. But that was before he got to play with the original helmet.
