Vellejo Model Air

I've just started trying to source paints.

I have the added problem of being in England and it's hard to get floquil here. They stock Tamiya a few places, but nowhere has ANY of the colours I need.

A range I haven't seen mentioned before does a lot of the colours.

Vellejo Model Air

Most of their paints have the same names, they claim to be matched to RLM colours? and their 'Fire Red' looks close to caboose.

Has anyone used these or can anyone vouch for their accuracy,

here is an example of their 'Panzer Olive Green' http://www.relishmodels.co.uk/vallejo-model-air-panzer-olive-green-1943.html

Again anyone who has used these or knows if the colours look right, it would be a lot of help, ty.

Try to talk to TerminalFettler. He has a great list of Humbrol paints that he's used for ESB and ROTJ helmets.
If you search for one of his paint up threads, I'm sure he has a list of all the colors he uses.

Vallejo in my opinion are probably the best paints out there,
you can also look at the military kit rather the model air.
We in Australia have the same problem with Floquil.
