VALUE of Don Post Deluxe Boba Fett helmet (Slightly desperate)

Well, over the past few weeks i've become a little desperate with rent. As such, i've even considered selling my Don Post Deluxe Boba Fett, which I thought I would never even dream of selling.
As such, i've been browsing around for prices. As a wearable costume prop, I know people have bought them from others repainted for $150-300. Looking around in collectible circles, the price fluctuates like crazy between $750 and upwards to nearly $1500. So, as a COLLECTIBLE piece of Fett history, how much would this helmet REALLY be worth?

The last one that was sold on Ebay went for 500$ US and it was in the same number range as yours (200-300).
That was all i could find, but to be honest it all comes down to what a person is willing to pay,

I would agree the last 3 I seen on ebay went for around $500. If you were looking to sell it fast that's what I would expect. You could probably list it for more and get it but it would likely take more time to sell.

Yeah, I just did some googling- one actually sold sometime January this year or last year
I've tried to find the link again, but no dice- I guess Ebay has started deleting ****

You could bring it to a pawn shop, and get a loan on it, instead of having to sell it outright. You wouldn't get as much for it, but you'd at least have the possibility of getting it back. I had to do that with my bike once because a room mate shafted me on rent.

I could throw it up on ebay, but I doubt it would get any bites unless I relisted it like 10 times XD
I want to keep it within the community since I know others will appreciate it

Hello guys. Just got on the forum. First post. I have the same question as this original thread.

As I consider buying a complete, used ESB Boba Fett suit. I consider selling my Don Post Deluxe Boba Fett Helmet, to help me fund my dream of owning the whole costume...

My DP helmet is from 1996, and is number 80. Can anybody tell me how much I could get for it? And would this forum be the place to sell it to a collector?

Any advice will be appreciated. :)
