Trying to figure out what kind of helmet this is

I've been trying to figure out what kind of helmet (Mystery Helm, Don post...etc.) this is on the right for sometime. There is no maker's mark anywhere and the guy I bought it from didn't know which model it was; nor he didn't answer if he made it or bought it from a maker. Some of you guys are experts on this kinda stuff and I thought I'd make a thread.

It's from a resin cast I believe, pic at the bottum.

*The one on the left is a Master Replica done by RS prop master for comparison.

To put the helmet on, I have to put it on like this:

...then, rotate it to the left. Then bam, it's on.

Here's a pic of the inside. Was holding the camera at a awkward angle, so it sorta looks uneven inside.

Thanks for looking.

I was thinking MSH when I first glanced at the pics. . . but something about the proportions is off. That dome is humongous.
Also, it looks really thin to be just resin. Is the inside smooth? Or does it have a rough texture?

Mostly smooth. It's not plastic, that's for sure and it is decently thick. I think it's just the way the lighting is. Theres areas inside it that are bumpy, like it's not sanded.

Here's a pic with a light shined in it:

Nah, doesn't seem like it would be an MS. I'm still stuck on the size and shape of the dome. . .
It rises pretty much vertically right in the front where the arrows are.

Going by the pics, the left ear seems slightly warped. The narrow cutout in the center of the ear
seems to have a gentle curve in it.

Looks noticeably larger than the MR cast, too. There aren't too many helmets by "known makers"
that are that big. The MSH2 is the biggest one I can think of, but that dome is really throwing me off.

Could be a one-off fan made helmet I suppose?

Could be just a fan made..

I see what you're talking about the dome..

Im dying for closure on what it is..it has to be modeled from some version. I was hoping itd be closer to the Mystory Helmet.

I sorta gave up till, I found a few pics on boba trooper's (DCprops) cargo hold listing from a while back.
Here is a V1 Fettpride lid he recently had for sale: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f31/esb-style-painted-version-1-fettpride-helmet-price-lowered-50322/

It goes up vertically pretty much where the arrows are like mine. I'm lead to believe that this maybe it, though mine needs a slight repaint. :wacko

Hmm. In the link you showed, not sure what he's referring to as a "FettPride version 1" helmet. . .
The earliest FettPride lid that I'm aware of is the MSH2, which was modded from the MSH1 to be larger.

Here are some threads showing pics of an MSH1 helmet. You can take a look at the pics and see how
it compares to the helmet you've got. Check out post #19.

I don't think it's been specifically addressed in this thread or not, but are the ears on your helmet
separate parts, or are they molded on? I know the upper RF ear cap is a separate piece, but how
about the remaining ear parts? Can't see any bolts on your interior shots, but they may be epoxied on.

Another helmet that I forgot about was called the MLC. You could do a search for that and see if the
pics match what you've got. I believe the MLC came with separate ear parts, and it was a pretty large helmet.

Its not a FP helmet already talked to him on it and he mentioned it could be bobamaker...

SJ they seem to be cast on like a budget helmet
