that's so cool looking.
Wow!!! GREAT job on that, man! You make this painting stuff look so easy! Your son must be loving it!!! :thumbup
great job! I gotta get one of these for my son
looks great, brother! my son wanted a custom one, so he painted his himself...i told him he will want a real boba one, and yep, he does, so we'll be painting his the Boba way...

Thanks brothers! Yes, my little son is very proud and he always wants to touch the helmet and run around with it.
With installed visor the helmet is almost too small ... he crushes his nose if he wears the helmet ... and it is very tight on the head ... not easy for a small boy to go through this torture ... :-)
I have to try to get more room inside it by sanding it out somehow ...
anyone an idea how to get rid of some material from the whole inside?
Cheers and thanks again for the nice feedback bros!

For my nephew's helmet I used an angle grinder with a flapwheel to dig out a little bit of the material on the inside. If you go that route, be careful. It would be very easy to grind a hole through the resin.
Thanks for the tip Shawn! IŽll go and have a look to get an angle grinder and a flapwheel.
IŽll keep posting any progress if I got it.
Great job!
I got one for my son, sadly it's to small.
