TF2 ESB Paint Job for Captain Awesome=FINISHED!

Thanks for the comments, well most of them...:D

Just finished the rear trim and key slots and applied the grey. Next is the purple/ maroon layer so we are starting to get somewhere at last.

Here is a quick teaser of a colour test I'm working on using Tamiya acrylics, I'll start a thread in due course...(y)

Watching Garrett paint this is kinda like watching a ballerina in a combat zone.

Whats worse is that I don't understand either reference. Is this the Queen's english???
Grace under preasure??? Tiptoe under fire? Marines not breaking things? #notgettingit

Purple layer added to front of trim and mandibles. This is a new colour mix to cope with the slightly lighter grey underneath...

Here's the purple on the rear trim and key slots. I have only the two final reds to mask for, then its onto the detailed weathering!

That's all the main colours on, just revisiting a couple of areas to add more detail. Think I will probably redo the right ear as I'm not totally happy with it...

No worries man. It's best to take your time and get it right the first time. I have 3 kits, so if you need any more let me know.
