Here's a little sneak peak at my next project while I finish up my current one! Boardmember Starchild99 has commissioned me to paint his beautiful RotJ FPH2. Prepwork is done, borden connector and visor have been installed and a light coat of primer applied...stay tuned for further developments! LOL!

Base colors have been applied. Next step...Kill Stripes. Pics were taken in two different types of lighting, one softer, one a little more harsh.

Got the killstripes painted. When it comes to killstripes, there's no school like the old school...Strips of masking tape, liquid latex, and paint! It's kind of like mashed potatoes...potatoes, milk, butter, and salt is all ya need. Anything else is just foolishness!

Small update. Got the silver applied to the left mandible. Gonna hit the gym (Darn holidays!), then get the right mandible and the brow done this evening...

I'm thinking those are image compression artifacts rather than details in the paint.
