Silicon mould Question

Hey Guys just wanted to say hello.

I'm vary new and me and my buddy have been working on a boba fett cardboard helmet and we wanted to try and make a Silicon mould of it, our question is after we get the mould made, We are going to try and recast it in resin for our selfs so we dont mess up the original lol, Now how would we go around casting the resin one? How would we make it empty in side so we can wear them? Any help would be great thanks

yup, i've been learning that fine art myself.

you slosh it around until the resin gets solid. it takes a couple of layers to really get it right.

i'm using smoothon.com's smoothcast roto and it seems to work wonderfully.

Try Smooth On (if i am spelling it right) the offer a lot of casting help.
