SE jetpack question

I may be mistaken but does the SE jetpack have a big damage scar across the middle? I thought I saw it when Boba walks between the two girls he is chatting up in Jabbas palace. I may be wrong but if I'm not does anyone have a jetpack like this I'd really like to see it.

Yes, you are correct! They indeed used the damaged jetpack in the ROTJ SE:



That jetpack is actually the one used in the skiff scene when Han accidentally hit Boba's jetpack and he flies and dies in the mighty Sarlacc:



It can be seen in the sail barge scene too, when Boba takes off with the jetpack:



And the same jetpack in the LFL arechive:

Of COURSE you didn't notice! It's just in the ROTJ SE version, and everyone know that the original theatrical versions are by far the superior films

This is not true! That jetpack appeared in the original ROTJ too! And I must correct myself, because there were at least two stunt jetpacks with that big gash and one unaltered stunt jetpack, all (or some) made of foam rubber.

The first stunt pack (in order of appearance) has a big transversal gash on the jetpack's body, and while some of the parts are pretty accurate, other parts are rough and uneven:



The second stunt jetpack, although it looks cleaner in forms, it has the same gash and some of the details differs from the first pack (this pack is in the LFL Archives):



Note that this pack was used in the ROTJ SE scenes too.

The third jetpack lacks the big gash and its overall form is rough and uneven (this pack is in Steve Sansweet's personal collection):



Just saw these differences the other day (the jetpacks with the gash) and wanted to share it with everybody.
