Dangit, I tried to post this an hour ago but apparently l hit the wrong freeking button, or the Sarlacc ate it...

Here is my semi fininshed scratchbuilt RF, using WOF's excellent tepmlates (y)

It was a kinda spur of the moment "rush job", but fairly accurate IMHO... I just need to take care of the surface imperfections and add the LED's...

Of which, the red LED's will be wired in series, and a seperate white LED for the viewfinder with corresponding colors for a helmet mounted power supply...

I'm also scratching a hollow stalk out of laminated styrene to house the fixed wiring...

All is made from 1/8" styrene sheet, the lens block will be made from clear CD cases; the block will be "frosted" except for the viewfinder area, which I need to find a good Han solo taret pic to out in it...

My plan is to get in on the "Karma" thread with this, but if there is other interest it might go in the Cargo hold...

Thanks guys!

Working on the lens and stalk now, I'm thinking of going ROTJ with the lens since its easier to do the 3 green lines instead of trying to shrink a solo picture to put in it...

I know one of the movies the red LED's didn't work; anyone can tell me which one? It may just be easier for me to put dummy LED's in and a single powered white one for the lens...

maybe this is of some help :

This is how the leds in my RF are done.
They are flashing Leds , so they need no cirquit.
