Ok , after many months I took the plunge as many of you have. I am using this as a learnig tool to refine my mess making skills. Wail until my wife sees the bondo in the patio table.
I started with the forsale signs and went from there, the directins and the templated from WOF are really great IF YOU CAN CUT A STRAIGHT LINE
Thanks to TDH and to all the patience...

I look forward to seeing more on this. Are you going with the baseball helmet dome, or do you have another plan for that? I see you are doing what I did when I assembled mine, which is to cut a flat piece for the dome base - no head hole. Does this mean you intend to make a mold from your construction? My non-wearable sculpt sits in my storage room right now, but I'm considering putting it out as a display piece... at least until I get the casting done.

I recommend using drop sheets when you're working with bondo and stuff. It'll prevent unwanted strain on the relationship front. And it's just so much easier to clean up afterwards.

From the start to the boiling, chilling, cutting out gluing ..My wife's favorite the BONDO and then the sanding, more bondo to follow followed by more sanding and on and on.....

Some more pics just what you wanted DARRK !!!

When I resized the pics they were in order the program assigned weird number abd letter combos to them thus the mixed up order..Learing all ze time..

Sorrt Gypsyboy, I am going to make another bucket same way I am going to use this as the Boba Ginnea Pig to see if I can do it. I'm going to go get the base ball helm this eve and start to work that out. I am a little out of round with the start but I left extra material to adjust for that . If I can get it to stay together until 2 more bondo applications I will resin and glass over the inside, then with a crossed fingers It'll stay. Thanks . I might mold oif time allows hard to do all this with my 2 year old wanting to helm.. I am going to make her one as well. If it turns out well, Maybe i'll put in a place of honor. for all to see.
