Rubies Boba Fett Helmet

Anyone know the quickest and easties way to paint the black strips around the top of the Rubies helmet? Mine came unpainted and I need to quickly add these black lines on the helmet.

I have to agree with all the SgtFang Mystery Helmet love on this thread; it is the helmet I have now (my first one) and it is spectacular, once you put in the time to tidy it up :D

The rubies helmet is a nightmare. I bought one recently, not by choice, my Gypsyboy helmet won't be here in time for Halloween, and while the Rubies looks ok, its not. I got the 2-piece and it's bigger than I thought it would be. My face doesn't smash against the visor. BUT....alot of work needs to be done: bondo the seam, flare it out more, replace the visor, and painting it is absolute hell.

But it works for halloween.

I bought one at Disney World Star Tours several years ago before I knew any better, but thought it was cool at the time. I still have it and wonder if anyone could make a decent kid's bucket out of it... it's pretty small...

It can be done. My first one was a Rubies. Biggest thing is to reshape it and reinforce it. Cut out the visor and install a new T-shaped one. I used the hot and cold water method and then put it in the freezer to reshape it and reinforced the bottom with a metal rod I got at a craft store to hold the shape.
