Finally got outside for a few pictures. The visor is just sitting in place, still needs to be mounted

Helmet looks great. Nice paint job on the EE-3, How close to getting suited up are you?

Coming along nicely Lance! Gotta just be the picture, but it makes it look like the shoes are huge!
Looks like it could use a little more dirtying up, but I hear the pictures always make the weathering appear more subtle.

Yeah the shoes are size 12, but they are a bit closer to the camera at that angle. This picture was pre-flak weathering, which is being weathered along with the spats and utility belt/pouches as i type. Thank you for the feedback. It is great to have more eyes than my own on this!

Weathering looks like something that will take patience I love these pics including the lighting. I also want to make sure my dents, scratches weathering look like weathering and not like those bullethole stickers or cartoony. Good work Mr Dick jones! Im so happy i found this sight, When i was little I imagined of making my own Fett Costume. Back then it consisted of a milk crate Bike helmet and a Foam gun. Somehow it was my best first build! :p

I know it has been awhile since my last update. I am about 98% done. I have to weather a few things yet and install a servo and liner in my helmet. This weekend I plan to try everything on for the very first time! Here's what I have so far...

So I finally got around to installing my SalamanderKing Servo kit...
First i had to figure out how to mount the servo. I used clay and built up a platform to mount the servo to. i later coated the clay parts with E-90 2-part epoxy...

I also got my Evilboy fans installed as well, 2 years later, :)

To attach the stalk to the servo post, i used a tap and drill set like in many previous installs before me..

I installed the remote part in the flamethrower housing and used velcro to close the bottom for easy access.

I am not sure why the photos are squished and sideways..:(

Nice fan install, the only comment I would make is the fans look like they will be right next to your ears. While they are pretty quiet, you might want them behind your ears.

That's the only place I could get them to fit. They are super quiet though. The servo is the real noisemaker!

So my wife finally agreed to help me get suited up and take some pictures..
I am still missing a light beacon for the jetpack and two tubes are missing from the right gauntlet, i haven't attached them yet...
Anyway, it was a lot of fun getting all suited up and on to the pictures...

Also, if you need a beacon light I have a basic kit from active armor available.

Thanks! Almost three years of hard work paying off! This is the first time i have been completely suited up and there is no feeling quite like walking around as Fett! There were many times i thought about throwing in the towel!
