Rogue Studios' ESB Color list & Painting Techniques

Hey sorry been away for a bit. The armor and helmet colors are different. I'm about to finally start on my own personal suit (never done this before). I will post what colors I use etc. some of this stuff changes like the weather.

Hey guys,
Just wondering what color everyone's using for the lighter color on the silver parts on the back and in the dent. I don't see anything on Lee's list and I can't figure out what it is. Seems to look different in all the photos.

Here's a pic I borrowed from Superjedi's awesome thread to illustrate. I hope he doesn't mind:)

If you can get hold of humbrol enamels, try 147, it looks grey but depending on the adjacent colour, takes on a blue or green hue. I tried 100's of different mixes but this was spot on from the tin...(y)

Howdo chaps of TDH...

I am a new poster on this site but a long trem reader. I am currently awaiting delivery of a helmet from Bobamaker and am researching the paints available here in Scotland / UK.

Does anybody on here know which paints can be purchased in the UK, eg, brands, colours etc, for an ESB style bucket?

Really hope somebody can answer my query???

Hey,

You can even order them online at testors.com. I'm pretty sure they ship international. They stock Floquil and PollyScale. You generally want to use enamels as much as you can, as stated in this post. Cheers! and Good luck!

This thread is so awesome!

I have a question, though. I saw that the main colours for the shoulders and knees are these:

* Reefer Yellow (Shoulders and knees put on heavier on knees but not much this color gets darker the more you throw down).
* ATSF Catwhisker Yellow (Shoulders and knees the trim around the scratches).

I found them at testors, but they look way too light?

And now I see they don't ship to Europe. Is anyone willing to help a girl in need of paint? :)

Most vendors I´ve been in contact with will ship to Europe, but they won´t reimburse anything taken in customs.

And regarding customs, I have a friend who´s a customs officer and he said that they usually won´t bother confiscating such small amounts of paint. I got all my paints from the US... Oh, and there are European webshops selling these paints as well. PM sent.

Thanks! I've sent them a mail, and hopefully they will be helpful. I looked at the link you sent me, but couldn't find the right paint names when I searched? I have no clue on what numbers to search for, so I'll have to see if I can find a conversion chart or something. They had a lot of colours, so it looks promising if I can find the colours I need.
