RF LED KITS - Thanks!

Sounds promising. I like the blue LED, but would settle for the green if it makes things easier to get smaller. if you can't get it to within the dimensions of the opening on the MLC RF, I'll have a re-think about going for 2 sets of standard.

What milliampage are the red and green LED's, 10ma?

Well, yeah I'm not 100% sure what the current is through those regular ones, but it's definitely lower than the super ultra bright annoyingly stubborn current draining blue LED :p.

I mean, the battery life is fine if the circuit only consists of the 2 red LED's, but with the blue one, I'm testing that right now. I'm at work, and I'll turn the circuit on and see how long it lasts, then I'll do the same but just with the Red one's themselves, and I'll let you guys know :)

Ciao,

I know this project is taking a little longer than I expected, but I hope you guys understand that I REALLY don't want to sell you something that will just be poorly made and/or will break fast and not last?! :(

Cheers,
Bobo

Hey Bobo,

Good job, and I like the movie of the helmet with the LED's plus the screen. Thanks for the update about the Blue LED, which makes sense. I'll stick with the blue one in the meantime, but until you get an update of the completed sets and the new changes, I agree to change for the green LED's instead, besides, they last longer.

Don't make any changes with my order yet, it's just a heads up...cause based on Webchief's pic...I think that I'll go for the green LED's instead, and will make more sense besides of matching the colors of the armor. :rolleyes

Man Bobo, you've done an awesome job with this project. It certainly is a huge improvement from the initial prototype.

Hey thanks Ely! :D
I've been hard at work on this project, and I've gone through sooo many different variations! :p I've ruined countless amounts of components and many printed boards that broke during drilling and/or soldering :(

But I'm proud of this, and I hope everyone else will like them too!
