    Reinforcement?

    Hey guys,

    I'm new around here! what an awsome forum!! anyway, I just got a don post '96
    and was hoping for some tips on reinforcing it with fiberglass. any opinions?


    any help would be great.

    My opinion. Dont, take it for what it is. I have seen alot of good helmets go wrong from people glassing them, not to mention you lose precious head room from the procedure.

    sounds good to me. especially about headroom, it is fairly small.

    IMO - If you need to do any shaping, use one of the various methods you can find here, then use a metal hoop to help hold its shape and flair. Its quick and easy, and as long as you keep it out of the heat you should be OK.
