Rangefinder will not stay up

I just got a 96 or 97 Don Post helmet. I has been repainted and the rang finder will not stay up. Any ideas? I am trying to keep from painting it again.

Asok you may want to try to remove the ear cap piece and add a small screw and washer to the rangefinder. This will still allow it to move up and down but will hold it secure also.

Something that works temporary is to wedge a Guitar pick on the side. Thats what I'm doing until I can fix it! Works great!

I have the exact same problem. I just stuck a bit of carboard between the rangefinder and helmet. Works pretty well for me.

u can use screws that come in some face protections

I wrapped my DP stalk with aluminum tape. Makes it shiney and helps keep it snug.

try getting a small rubber "O" ring from an auto/car outlet

Mine went droopy at the weekend :o

I used Blu Tac for a short term solution.
