I was looking at the close up pics of Boba's helmet from C4 and started wondering what his helmet would have looked like prior to its latest color scheme.
Has anyone taking a look at this puzzle before and tried to work out the colors?

Hmm. . . interesting thought.
It had always seemed to me that the colors around the silver damage was just the underlying primer on his helmet. Otherwise, what you'd have is a helmet that's pretty much medium gray with dark maroon mandibles. Which isn't impossible I guess. (Didn't Jango have one version of a helmet with dark red mandibles at some point?)
The RF ear probably would've had the same 'earth' tone that it does now. The left ear. . . hard to say. Going by the pattern of damage, maybe a medium/dark red?
I'm no great shakes with photoshop, but maybe someone could do up a "concept" picture with that sort of color scheme.
Yeah, I've thought about this very thing before. Boba had a lot of paint built up on that bucket. Also, his armor was once school bus yellow...I'm glad he went with a re-paint to green!
Hmmm...was it white?
