Question about bucket and armor material mixing and matching

Hey guys, I have a question for ya... I know some buckets as well as armor pieces are made of different materials. Like I know BM helmets are made of fiberglass. If I had a fiberglass helmet with armor made of different material, would it look weird? Would you even be able to tell? Does it affect the quality or the "unity" of the armor? Do any of you guys have armor and helmet pieces that are made of different material or even painted differently? I plan on starting my Fett in august and was going to slowly piece it together starting with the helmet and wanted to know what u guys had to say about it. Thanks!!!

I don' think its a problem, in fact a lot of people do it, maybe even most. I have vac formed, sintra, and fiberglass pieces.

The screen used suit actually had a fiberglass helmet and vac-formed armor pieces.

Once you paint your pieces, I don't think it really matters what material they're made from.
My upper body armor is FG from Bobamaker, and my cod and knees are older FP vac-formed pieces. You can't see that they're different materials.

Like everyone else said... Once it's under paint you'll never be able to tell. I have metal, styrene, resin, fiberglass, and sintra all in mine somewhere. Actually there is even some wood in mine.
