I was making my test helmet from cardboard but the cheeckbone didnt fit. Its too big for the the part with the T visor. Maybey it has something to do with my printer that it fits every image in a page. I dont know.
Make sure that when you print the templates out you select to print them out at 100% or for them to be printed so they fit to the page. You should have no problem. The only thing I can think of is if you printed the templates out on different occasions and forgot to choose one of the above settings.
Hope this helps
Hmmm!! I'm stumped then. I had no trouble when I did mine. Although I did get a bit confused when it came to the cheek inners and outers. The inners are bigger so that the part that curves around the T visor on each side can butt up against the inner and outer cheek as a mounting point. Is this any help?? If not then I am truly flummoxed
Ok I hope this explains it. I know it's a terrible drawing :facepalm but I hope it gets what I was trying to say across. The outer cheek plate is glued to the inner one which is larger. This forms a lip for the piece that curves around the T visor to mount on to.
Is this better?.......Don't worry you'll get there in the end.
Ah! I see. Yes I know what you mean, it does seem as if it's too big but it isn't.
It's the way it has to curve around. It forces itself inward, like the side of a dish. The inside edge then mounts onto the cheek plates.
However it is a real pain in the bottom to do, but it will fit I promise
