Painting the Grant McCune Helmet (GMH)

Whatever you want.

Don't get me wrong Kaane, you're research is right on for those that dont have access to Floquil..so great work there. And you're going about it the right way.

And just for the record, these tests are by no means final... I will say that just because we agree on certain colors doesn't mean they're correct.
Just know that allot of us here have been testing paints FOR YEARS... and the process of elimination as been in effect, at least for me, for about 7 years plus... so I'm pretty happy with my own list. It didnt just take "3 days". But make no mistake it isn't the "end all be all" of lists... as many others have proclaimed their own lists to be over the years.

Proof is Always in the pudding, If it looks right.. go with it... If it doesn't, change it. (y)

Thanks for sharing your results Kaane, that's what this is all about over on this side. :cheers

In response to the quest for the pink color. Years ago Lee mentioned to me to try "piping pink". That was what I used on my PP2 helmet way back when I painted it. It is brighter then you would think but after weathering it tones down considerably. I might have even mixed a little grey in with it to tone it down.

This pic was taken with a flash indoors so it isn't great but it gives you an idea.

^This is what I think , I cant see some one making a consious decision to add a pink colour to a batered space bounty hunter helmet ,
I think they are just different reds

And all of of Predatormvs colours look very good to how the pics weve seen of the PP2 look, exepet the pink looks to far from the red next to it for it to look totally convincing
