I was going back and forth with budget concerns and all regarding a helmet. I actually was going to buy a mystery helmet in raw form (and an old version) for 265 and then someone here told me I was nuts and that I should only expect to pay 150 or so for it. But then I figured after fixing it up, puttin on the side components (names?), range finder and painting it would bring me right back up to 300 bucks or so.

One guy in my Garrison has the MR bucket and I thought I personally would never be able to swing one of these but I do like them a lot. I've been made hip to the over weathering and such and the lack of "texture" from the paint job but they are super nice to me. Then again, I'm no Fett master.

Well, knowing that I had a little bit of my stimulus check to burn (thanks to my fiance' given me the okay to treat myself) I went looking around and ended up finding and buying a MR ESB bucket for 350 out the door, shipped...

So did I do okay? I guess I could of gone a cheper route but...

MR buckets are very sweet and your price sounds like a great deal!!! The only thing with those are the pinching bottom t-visors. But a lot of people have posted on here how the fixed that problem so it shouldn't be hard to remedy!

I forgot that one of my friends here did point that out to me as well. Hopefully it won't be a pain in the bud modification. I would hate to ruin anything on that bucket! I wonder if I would have to remove the visor and just adjust the pinching and then reinstall or if I'd have to get a whole new visor. Getting a new visor I know is cheap enough. I'm sure I can manage the mod...thanks!
