Woh!! You're from Iowa?! I just saw that! Where are you from in Iowa? I live outside of Cedar Falls. I've found 3 new propbuilders from Iowa in the last month!

yes sir, born and raised... im in Des Moines, you know the Capitol... way sweeter than cedar falls.

i got a couple buddies that go to uni, pretty cool city.

there isn't many of us builders here in Iowa... besides you the only other one i have seen online is a dude named Loess over at the 405th, pretty cool guy.

Looking good,some more bondoing and sanding it will be one amazing looking bucket.

Des Moines is ok. :D Cedar Falls is small compared to other big cities, but it is nice. It feels like a "clean" city....not like Waterloo! I can't stand that place! Keep in touch and have fun with the build!

not to sure on what you mean?

but it goes like this

1. cut, glue, assemble the pep file
2. thin coat of resin on the outside, let dry and add another coat
3. apply 2 layers of fiberglass to the inside
4. primer so you can see low spots
5. bondo the low spots
6. sand
7. bondo
8. sand
9. bondo
10. sand
11. spot putty
12. sand
13. paint

so i did alot of smoothing and i think i have the basic shape right where i want it... i shot it with a coat of primer, but the ****** picture quality blended everything together, so i did a really fast paint job with the paint i had on hand... i know the white area is suppose to be red... blah blah, and i know i dont have either of the ear things done yet...

the first one couldnt fit over my big head, so i had to fold a second one... the smaller one will go to my brother

you can see how bad my paint job was... i only tabed edges, not the whole area off, so the green got a white mist... but whatever

so there it is, hopefully later this week i will get the ears started and i will update then.

WOH!! Someone got a lot done this weekend! Too bad I was busy with the Rorschach craze. I haven't even started bondoing yet!

yep i was out in the shop for a good amount of my weekend... i finished folding the second one on friday and really ran threw the steps... that on top of finishing the gonk droid this weekend it was pretty productive.
