wanted to ask advise on first time buckets. i want it to be the right size and dimensions. i looked at the rubies on line the boba looks all wrong and the jango looks pretty good but since i cant hold it in my hands i cant tell, and what does two peice helmet mean? does rubies make more than one style of jango and boba? whats a fair price for them? is there a good site to go to too buy them? I looked around this site at some of the helmets and the fettpride budget and premium both look great ! the price of the budget is 150 but i dont know what the price of the premium is. any way any advise would be greatly appreciated...thanks

hey bud, my first helmet was a Rubies***, and i can tell you from experience, by the time you repaint it, reshape it, and basically redo it, you would have been better off with an FP helmet...they Rubies are running anywhere from 70-100 bucks, and to me, that aint worth it, at all...trust me, after i bought my Rubies***, i found this site, and realized i shouldve just invested the extra 80 bucks for a lid from someone that knew what they were doing...i would not recommend anything, ANYTHING, from Rubies...it shouldnt even be liscensed to sell...keep your eyes open in the Cargo hold, once you get access...lots of helmets pop up there...but really, a regular, new mystery helmet new is just a tad less than the FP budget...you wont be disappointed...and i am not just saying that...i have one...=) for the money and quality, you cant go wrong with the budget FP...not sure what the premium is going for...ill check for ya....

totally agree! i have Terminal Fettler helmet, painted by the man himself, and i wont ever have to upgrade...i bought the FP budget for a little project ive got going...spend the money now, and you will be happy forever...

i believe the premiums are around $350-$400...but they are decked out! i can dig some more to find the actual price...it is in a thread in the cargo hold....

I have had a Bobamaker helmet and it was a very well done bucket and had a very long wait time about 4 months. I have one of FP's Premium buckets on order and it cost $335 but I will not have to buy another one again.
