Newbie with his own helmet...

Hey guys, I'm new here. But I couldn't wait to get started on my costume.

Ok, so as much as I really want a Boba Fett costume, I want to be a Mandalorian even more.

So I got a helmet and decided to go the way of the Mandalorians as they are portrayed in Jango Fett: Open Seasons. I'm still working on it, and I'll be adding the chipping effects and whatnot, but here's what I have so far. Any input would be greatly appreciated.







The blue is actually darker (Think Jango), but apparently the flash on my camera is insane.

Love the color scheme! The darker silver looks great, has a pewter undertone to it that really matches well with the blue.

Looking good so far, you going to do the armor in the same color?

The helmet is actually flat black...yet another offsetting effect of the flash on my camera. Anyway, the costume for the most part, will be black, dark gray. There will be a few other colors here and there. I thought about going with red, but I feel black & red together is a little cliche.

As soon as I get my armor in the mail, I'll get working on that and get some pics for you guys.

well then your pictures just sparked the interests of several members, a deep chrome/silver bucket with a powder blue scheme, and armor to match would look insanely awsome, but with a lighter "younger" or more feminine touch. good job on the bloooper!

as for your helmet itself, it looks like you know what your doing! lol its lookin mighty fine man, keep it up.
