Is it just me, or does the right side mandable is kinda misaligned along the vertical part of the visor? It appears to me as if the right mandable is angling slightly inwards, but it could just be me...

Every MR item I have I've been able to snag for about half of the retail price. I think I'm going to wait a while and see if the price drops on this as well before buying.
Although, the $650 price could be a signature edition and the regular limited edition could cost less.

That picture [www.jedidefender] is very interesting....it may well be our first look at MR's proto factory paint job for this helmet! I know it's not the same as the paint masters I've seen that came from RS (see top of thread or MR blog).

Yeah, its pretty cartoonish in the pic. I hope they add some kind misting or something to tone it down a bit.

I completely agree. If that is indeed the production paint job, I am pretty impressed, considering the level of complexity the Fett helmet has in it. As Justin said, you really can't even begin to compare a mass produced factory paint job to the care and detail of a custom paint job from one of TDH's artists.

I suppose you'll always get a certain amount of variation when installing a visor, they should use Spideys method!! Didnt the ROTJ helmet also angle in slightly towards the base of the visor? Prob just an assembly thing

I'm really dying to get it !!! Once I get the MR, I will only need a great set of guantlets (FP, I'll wait for you ) to complete my costume !!!

The paint job doesnt look to bad for what will be a massed produced item. As evan4218 said though, you cannot expect quality and accuracy of the likes of TDH artists like AFFO$ and Steve the Swede. However, if the helmet turns out to be a premuim sculpt it may well be worth purchasing anyway
