Whew!!
As if painting Laan's helmet wasn't enough to keep me busy, I had also been working on another ESB helmet. Although I've had it for a couple of weeks now, the total time I spent on this one was probably about 5 days. . . give or take a day.
Even though it was a speedy job, I think it came out pretty nice!
Here's a few angles of the finished helmet.

And another angle of the front.

Here's one of the back. . .

And the opposite angle.

Anything look unusual?

Maybe a little. . . strange somehow?

Well. . .

Here's why

It's a mini-Natty helmet! :D Finished this up for another member today.
He's replacing the head of his Sideshow PF Boba statue, and got me to do the paintjob for him. Standard topical paintjob using the RS color list.

Hope he enjoys it!

I was thinking, "My word... the owner must have a very small head or something!"

Great work, man! That's good detail on something so small! :cheers

I have my superjedi PF ESB helmet on the figure next to my AFFO$ MS3 and it's amazing how accurate the mini is, completely matches. Fantastic work superjedi!

Just let me say...Cute..I know, guys don't like that...But it is incredibly adorably cute. :-D

..not to mention, so wonderfully painted and accurate, I am honestly impressed.

Thanks all! Nathan did such an amazing job on this sculpt. . . it's really amazing the work he put into it.

Shabad, glad you like the repainted helmet!

And it is cute!

Holy smokes Eric, that thing is a KILLER piece of BEAUTY! (y)

I mean it man, it's BEYOND my wildest imagination...and that's just from the photos! Can't WAIT to have this in hand and perched atop my Boba Fett PF...I'll be the envy of everyone who sees how much BETTER the figure looks with the proper sized helmet and an INCREDIBLE paint job!...well all except Eric and shabad, who already have this AMAZING helmet painted by the master Superjedi.

Big kudos to Natty for doing up such an amazing sculpt, and super kudos to you Eric. WOW! I'm speechless! :cheers

You can be sure I'll post some follow-up photos here once the helmet has arrived safely and is proudly displayed on top of Boba.

P.S., I love that you added the little mole piece to his cheek, now THAT'S attention to detail!

Thanks, Indy. I'll look forward to seeing your "altered" Sideshow statue.

Well, in the baggie with all the ear parts, there was a length of thin styrene rod. I assumed that was what it was for. I couldn't think of any other reason why it was in there.

Huge, huge thanks to Eric the Superjedi on this one. Man, what a bang-up job he did on this helmet for me (y)

It's such a HUGE difference in how fantastic the PF Boba Fett statue looks now...and here are a few pics to prove it, the first one is without flash...I just liked the glow coming from behind it. The second shot is exactly the same, but with the flash on. Enjoy!

Hey Geoff,
Nice shots! Looks great on your statue. (y)
Isn't Nathan's sculpt amazing??? I love the fact that he did the RF top in clear resin!
Glad you're enjoying the piece. :)

Thanks Eric! Yeah, that incredible sculpt by Nathan was KEY! And your exceptional paint-job just makes it shine even more...which is pretty good for such a weathered helmet!

Honestly, it makes the PF piece 100 times better to have such a stellar helmet on there now.

Man I just LOVE this thing! (y)
