You are a Boba Fett helmet are you not?

Got this in the mail today. It is another very nice cast from Asok. I scuffed it up a bit real quick with some 220 sand paper just to show off the Cold Cast. In the second pic you can see it untouched just out of the box.

Beside it is a new clone helmet from Evo over on CTnet. It is also a very nice cast. I got it in the mail just a couple of days ago.

these don't really need 200, i'm planning on starting mine with 400 and going up from there.

I have to agree that they don't need the 200, but the 200 was in the bedroom.....and the finer grits were out in the shop which would have required me to walk.

I am anxious to start on this but I think I wil let it sit just a while since I recently got a few pieces closer to Jango being done. I have a Jango vest to work on (finally) and I need to finish up the gaunts. I want to do my home work before I start into a serious Boba paint up.

Asok should be proud of the cast though, it is crisp and clean.

Thanks for the kind words but, all I did was cast it. FP made the awesome mold.

Both helmets look great!

I just cleaned up the Boba Fett and the clone bucket a little and I must say they were both VERY easy. The Evo helmet really just had a mold seam to sand off. The Asok I polished up a bit and then set it off to the side for just a bit.....I have to finish Jango before I start painting Boba. Here is a pic after I cleaned it up. It might get displayed this way for a little while.

They are very comparable in size, although the Asok is a MUCH MUCH nicer mold and cast.
