Need your opinion

Hello hunters !!!
For my ESB project, I need your opinion about my helmet before vernish it !
I just have to finish the green lense, and add the black point on the ear piece.
Could you give me your opinion, if I have to modify or change something (or change nothing !!) to make it validable...
(original mould : mystery helmet), greens used : US army uniform, Germany army uniform, Panzer green

There are a few thing you NEED to change , and dont ues varnish , most important is the ears they shouldnt be bronze they need to be an earth / tan colour , (i as many made the same mistake many years ago on my first lid)
and the left ear needs to be olive green, not gray - black , these are the most important things you need to change

I painted my first helmet's ear cap that gold color too... =P

Hello! Since you are repainting this helmet you should give it a good sanding with various grit sandpaper. Start low (220?) and then move up to a higher one (400, 600). This way you have a nice smooth base to start with.

Glad to see you're following advice and starting anew. It's going to look light years better now that you have some painting direction. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Hang in there! Be Patient and go slow! I stripped and repainted my helmet more than once before I was happy with it. Try working on your paint techniques like masking, spraying/airbrushing and color matching on test boards or heavy card stock before starting back on your helmet...

Color tests are a great thing for sure
