My nose & my bucket …

T Visor

Active Hunter
Well, mother nature has given me a really big big nose who hits the installed visor of my M_S bucket. Shame on me, the crimped end of the nose is clearly visible behind the dark green visor. This gives me a involuntarily funny air and people are able to recognize me easily. How do you manage that with you buckets when like me, you have a bigger nose or glasses?

I don't want to go with plastic surgery …

MLC buckets are great for glasses. For your M_S bucket, try putting more padding on the forehead part to keep your head pushed all the way back against the keyslots.

Yes, that's it! I have no glasses, but what works for wearer of glasses should work for big noses … I have to put less padding in the back and more on the forehead

Thanks …

You could also try putting black screen door mesh on the middle vertical part of the visor. (Not the viewable area.) That way no one could see in

Yea, I have quite the "Humpty Nose" myself. I was thinking to do the forhead spacer as well. I originally wanted to do the football helmet padding inside and I may do that in the top but I am going to leave as much room as I can towards the rear

No way, E2K13, leave as much space towards the FRONT as you can, not the back. Otherwise, your breath may fog up the visor if your face is right on top of it. Spacing it with the forehead spacer padding will allow more airflow to hit your face from under the helmet. :)

Believe it or not...I could do the same with my Jango RUBIES when I first got it. The helmet moved up and down like a bobble head. My wife laughed because when I walked...the helmet would turn to the side all on its own. Hence...more padding.

I must have a small head I can spin my dp95 bucket around on my head without anything hitting lol.

Me too. I have a DP '95 and have padding on both sides of my head, back of head, and forehead. Fits snugly now. ;)

Yea, I hate having a bobblehead for a head! Damn Irish nose too. :)

Well, you know what they say... Big head.... Ummm, big hats.

:)

Glad someone else posted this. I just got my new DP '95 and holy crap, that thing is TINY. It will work, but that German beak of mine is only milimeters from the visor.

Danke'!
