My New Bucket

Ok, so I went all out to get a decent helmet, I am told it is a an early mystery bucket which has been finished/weathered by Bobamaker (signed inside) and painted by a friend of his. I am really pleased with it.

Now I need to make sure my armour and rest of the suit measure up!

Weathered by Bobamaker (Daz) ? Nice looking lid but... not sure about the paintjob origins? :confused

Definitely not painted by me I'm afraid. If I recall correctly, Your seller painted and weathered the whole thing, i just added an airbrush wash to tone down the colours because he didn't own an airbrush.

But if you're happy with the helmet then it doesn't really matter who painted it.

Not sure about the 'ins and outs' but happy none the less. I must admit it gave me more confidence when buying as you had signed it, I assumed that it can't be far off the mark.

I really like the painter's style on this one. It doesn't have every busy, fussy detail of the actual ESB helmet. It's like the ESB colors with the more "realistic" approach of the ROTJ paint job. Very cool. The base metal finishing on the mandibles and the back is especially nice.
