We all know recasting is BAD, but before I came to TDH I didnt have a clue there was any problem with it (my ignorance):facepalm
Deadbolt will learn from this i'm sure but thats all academic as he has the helmet now (which does look quite good...for a recast)
I mean, what do people want him to do, smash the thing up so as not to upset anyone

BTW I joined TDH a few weeks ago, I got the helmet about a year ago.

See, it was all just a misunderstanding. Now if we can get past all of this anger of recasting, update us on your helmet progress....but you might want to start a new thread, keep all of this ugliness behind.

I think he deserves a break. When I first started here, I had no idea what recasting was, or why they were different from anything else. Heck, I had no idea of the difference between a DP or MS. I bought some stock greeblies from a recaster on ebay, before I knew better. Now that I'm informed, I will avoid recasters. Deadbolt will hopefully do the same. I must say, the bucket looks sweet. Keep up the progress

might I suggest that the topic name be changed? having the (recast) part now that you know the stance of the boards may cause inflamatory responses? just a thought.
