How did you do the removeable visor?

I used a Tee Nut: BE SURE TO FLATTEN the TEE NUT.... You can find it at Home Depot...Size is 6-32X 1/4"...and be sure to get the corresponding screws..thery're made by Crown Bolt.

This type of "tee nut" allowed me to NOT DRILL through the helmet...
I bonded the tee nut to the helmet with 3M Scotch Brand Welding two part mix.(y) It's better than JB Weld.

Used a drill bit to recess the tee nut...Pics..(y)

NOTE: Be sure to Flatten the tee nut...

That drill bit looks familiar... LOL :)

Great job so far. Its been exciting seeing first hand and first person all the incredible prep work your doing for this bucket. Its gonna be something special when its done.

FP gave you a kick butt canvas to start from. Cant wait to see it done!

Lol, I'd be too afraid to try and RECESS my helm to give room for the tnut for my visor lol! Where's the duct tape!

Hey Spideyfett!

I love what you doing! That is a lot of detail work you are doing.

The finished product should be awesome! (y)

Looking forward to seeing all the progress pics! :D

This is gonna be one cool thread! I like everything so far. The way you have attached the visor is very clever. I must try that myself. If there is one thing that could be fixed it would be the dent. i would smooth it out little in the center. Besides from that, great job! cant wait to see it with some paint on:)
