    My Helmet

    It's getting there......!
Just got to finish some of the weathering, and mist it all off so that its not so shiny and clean, then install the hollow RF and LEDs and I think its about ready!

I've been working on this for ages and I'm really proud of it, it looks so much better than my first attempt. PLease let me know any of your comments.

The flash ahs made it look a lot lighter than it really is though

looks great, when ur done misting, you could try to make patterns of new silver paint on the dulled-by-misting silver scratches. this way you get 2 kinds of silver colour.

also, you might want to edit the blue like colour around the scratches. check for brak budy's foto's of aosw tour, theyre all you need to make all the chanegs you want to edit.

    Quick update...

Just done some more of the weathering. I also opted to put a grill mesh in the rear instead of the MQ-1 circuit board, just for some added ventilation. All I'm waiting for now is my new hollow RF and stalk from BM then I need to mist it down and I think I'm done!

My chest armour is pretty much finished as well! I'll get some more pics on here asap

    Re: My Helmet

OK here we are, almost finished, just gotta mist it and paint the mole and I think I'm done and ready to seal. Thanks to BM for the RF and stalk, as well as numerous tips. Thanks to Ely for the decals, and TK409 for his kill stripe template.

Sorry for the blurriness. I had to stand real still with the flash off and I don't think I did too well!

Seems to me you have your priorities in order...Fett being on top of the politics book

Quick question-what are the dimentions of your bucket? I'm trying to compare the REAL thing to a 96Rubies.

I'll get some dimensions for you. The first pics looks a bit stretched out. I got this from a reputable sculpter and I believe it is totally accurate.

That is a very awesome helmet, and the paintjob is A+. It has been said many times though noones helmet is 100% size or shape accurate, there is no way to do that unless you can recaste directly off the ILM museum helmets.

Well, RS is the one exception. He can definitely state his helmet is 100% the size and shape of the real ILM Fett helmets.
