Thanks Greg, BTW the WOF link to the MQ circuit board is broken. Where did you find yours?

I don't have one yet so I haven't cut open my helmet's keyslots. You could mock one up with illustration board "chips" and wire in approximately the right spots. If I can't get one, or a cast of one, that's what I'll do. In the end it's barely visible.

Coming along nicely! Does the slot in the middle rangefinder stalk mean you can put wires through it? That's a good idea, I didn't think of that.

Hi Greg, yes it's for wires. If you look at Antmans tutorial it shows how to make the connection. Do you know what size screws I should use to fasten the ear pieces to the helmet? And do I need to seal the helmet before applying bondo?

I can't help with the screw selection, I didn't do it that way, mine's glued.

I think sealing the illustration board is a good idea, it seems like it would help with bondo adhesion.

So I coated it with a light polyurethane spray a few times then maybe put a lil too much bondo..lots of sanding to do...

So I started this scratch build a week ago from chipboard. This is how far I've gotten. I'm wondering if I should coat it again with bondo. I've covered and sanded it down 3 times already. It's not quite perfectly rounded, still a few low spots I think. What do you guys think?
