All done and Im quite pleased with it, iv seen better but for a first try I'm happy learnt a lot for next time, if there is a next time.

Looks SO much better! There's still a lot you can do as far as further shading, adding other color detail to the mandibles and weathering If you get bored with it. Major improvement nonetheless....
Yeah think it's going to be an ongoing project, I have already purchased a metal RF stalk that I can wire the lights through, so that will be the next step ;-)
Great job! Too bad the Don Post couldn't keep their shape during production when they were in business! Wouldn't be bad for their low price during Halloween sales...
