Hi guys. Here I present my first helmet of Boba Fett made with Pepakura. I just gave a second layer of fiberglass and now im begining with the bondo.
You can see the progress in my video:
But I have a doubt,and i need help. I must to put bondo for all parts of helmet? or only some parts as the top and the front? I have doubts about it.

It is entirely up to you what to Bondo and what not to Bondo.
Personally I chose to Bondo the whole cheek area including the plates, in order to make it all seamless.
My Advice is to finish shaping your dome and the areas of the cheek that you do have Bondo'd, then take a break.
Come back to your helmet with a fresh eye and critically inspect your helmet.
If you are happy with it... go to paint prep, if you are not happy... go back to Bondo.
Also watching the Video I can tell why your Bucket dome seems so lumpy.
You started at the top and worked your way down, applying a thick looking patch after patch.
To be fair I would have made the same mistake except i happened to talk to my Father on the phone and mentioned Bondo.
As it turns out he used to do ALOT of bodywork with Bondo and gave me excellent advice.
The second most useful bit of advice he gave me was to start at the bottom of the dome, with a small "sausage" of Bondo on the spreader, then pull it up to the top.
Doing it this way allows for the Bondo to fill the Low-points in the Dome gradually, layer by layer, while scraping the Bondo off the High-points.
This means you end up only with the Bondo you need and little excess that needs to be sanded off.
It is a technique lifted straight from Bob Ross's The Joy of Painting... and it works even with Car Bodyfiller! The man was a rare genius.
Keep your head up and your heart high, you will make this an outstanding bucket!

I you have been of great help. Just now I have more advances now, and i have continued sanding and sanding and putting little mas of bondo, beside refilling the zone of the cheeks and to sand it.
Soon I will upload more advances in another video. Also I want to put another post with my bucket of cardboard.

More advances in my bucket! I have had to sand, to apply a cap of primer and to cover some blemishes and holes that were standing out and then to put another cap of primer.

only thing i saw was that the left ear does not go all the way down, with a little square cut out at the rear end of the ear.
You can probably just add it to the bottom of the actual left ear to fill that area underneath it.

I believe that I am going to do the ears of cardboard, adding putty. Do they give good result, truth?

As far as the Ears, I made mine out of cardboard and I like them.
I followed Antman's tutorial and made them solid using the stepped pyramid method.
Sand to shape, then Bondo and sand to shape again.
Just Bondo+sand BEFORE gluing to the Helmet, my mistake was gluing them on first THEN bondo+sand.
Alternately you could build the Ears hollow a la WOF, then resin them.
If you leave a small hole in the back you can even fill some resin to the inside.
I have never tried to build them hollow so I won't be able to help you with that.

Great work on the helmet. Your first attempt looks a thousand times better than my first try and 999 times better than my failed second attmept. I do believe if I try again I will use resin and brush on to paper first to harden up the whole thing then only fill the cheeks with some bondo and try to use as little of it as I can to shape the dome. Again great work on the build. If you really want some fun building something give the jet pack a try. Good luck!
Hi man!!!!!!, great work you have done, I know still more for coming but build a helmet is a great experience!!!!!!!!! more that finish it self...I reccomend you buy the visor in HostMonster, you just need to seldct the right size and ready!!!!!! there are 4 sizes and if you helmet is very very custom, take your sizes and write with all the trust to T Visor here you received a good attention......................................
