I meant to do this a while ago, but I keep forgetting.
I did my first Fett helmet paintup in August 2005. So in just under 3 years I've painted 10 of these things! That wouldn't be bad if I was doing it for other people, but these are all mine. I need help!
It's great looking back on them all and seeing the evolution.
On the RotJ side:
The first one. An eBay Mystery Helmet.
I sold this one here and it ended up on ebay soon after. The person that bought it painted an ESB catscratch onto it, which confused the heck out of me.
Number 2: MSH2. I'm actually really surprised at how well this one holds up over time:
I know this went to someone here, but I don't remember who
Number 3: MS3
This is also the only one that I did any sort of detailed progress pics on:
http://stormtrooperguy.com/bobafett/ms3.php
After this I never bothered. It would just be more of the same. Different paint and different helmets, but the style would be the same every time.
Icedevil has this one now.
Number 4: BradleyFett. This one is sort of in a class of its own, since it was made as a raffle prize, and more a vehicle for Jeremy Bulloch's signature than a piece of art unto itself:
This one was the grand prize in a 501st raffle. JB signed it for me at no charge, which is just another example of how awesome he is!
I did do some progress pics on this, but mostly just the assembly:

Number 5: Hand Shaubb. To this day, this is my favorite, only because the helmet was metal. There's so much you can do when you don't have to worry about scratching through to the material underneath. I was just beating this thing, and it looked awesome up close
This actually passed through a couple of hands. It was the trade that got me the MR that I hacked up
All that we have here is a green-tinted cameraphone pic of how shiny it was right out of the box:

Number 6: MR cast. This one was another rush job. About 24 hours start to finish. Aside from the visor color being slightly off, it's not a bad lid!
This is still in my room collecting dust. I should probably do something about that.
There's a monster thread here about the fixing/casting process and paintups of all of these, but the cleaner summary is here:
http://stormtrooperguy.com/bobafett/mr720.php
Number 7: MR cast. This one is my current helmet. The RF topper and ears are from the original MR that I trashed. I'm totally loving this one, and don't see myself replacing it any time soon.
Then there are the strange little children.
Jango, which I don't actually even have any photos of. It's a converted MR cast. I'm actually really happy with the look of it, and will probably do another at some point. I used one of the warped Boba prototypes, just as a break from all the green.
ESB #1, MR cast.
I never finished this 100%. It never got the stripes, visor or rangefinder. I'll leave its new owner to unveil it when it's actually finished.
I do have some in-process pics of this one:

ESB #2, MR cast.
For when I'm feeling SE:
This was a nightmare. The silver reacted badly, causing me to have to strip it all down to bare smoothcast roto and start all over again.
The sad photo tale is here:

Next on my list is a PP2 helmet!
