My attempt at a scratch built bucket

I have been wanting to try this for some time now and I finally got to it. I am using sintra. The only problem I have had so far is the cheek contours. I used strips of plastic to back the flat part of the cheek and the face plate. Now I am going to bondo over that and smooth it out. We will see how that works out. Here some pics on how far I am at the moment.

That is one of my favorite custom helmet I have seen. I love the different design scheme on the visor. Smart design. Also the breathing vents put a new light to the helmet itself.

What did you do to make the cheeks sturdy? It looks like you have masking tape as a template. Did you go over it with Bondo or some sort of putty hardner?
Just curious.
