Thanks man, and I for sure went crosseyed on that thing!!! I am sure it will happen again when it comes time for that front right mandy!!

Question for everyone. I did the right ear last night and for some reason at least to me the color looks off. I but down Floquil Earth and to me it just does not look right, what has everyone been using for this?

Thanks to everyone for the compliments I really appreciate it, and i just have to say that man this is one hell of a process. Over the past couple of weeks I have been able to get a little done here and there and now have the upper and lower cheeks done. They did not come out to bad but I will need to clean up some lines to get them a little more crisper which i will do once I get everything done. Here are some pictures and the next stop is the mandies and boy am I not looking forward to that!!!!!:lol:lol:

Yeah I am not looking forward to it. Guess I will just take my time layer by layer.

that is right, sloooooowly...watch your intervals, and spacing...make reference points as you go...there is a certain amount of damage that goes in a specific amount of space, and if you get previous damage too big, you run out of room...(y)

i started with the silver first...finely doing that damage, following Dookie's stencils...then i added the grey, then came back with the maroon...keep up the progress pics!! looking good brother! (y):cheers

Man has it been a while since I have been able to touch this thing, but the heat this last month did not help either. With that said it was a little bit cooler this weekend the low 90's so I decided to get some paint on this bad boy. I got the silver the the Grey down and will be working on masking out the grey so I can put the Maroon either Tuesday or Wednesday. My plan is to have the mandies done by this weekend time permitting

Well enjoy the picks and let me know if there is anything that needs fixen.

Hey deadland,

you have a good eye for the details. I am using the layered technique too and it´s by far the best looking way for any helmet. IMO
The mandibles look very good so far.
Question: did you use some lighter grey on them? because normally they are lighter than the dome e.g.

Curious how the end result will look like.

Great job so far bro!

Manuel
