Metal Bucket

So far this bucket weighs 4 pounds and I am getting on with the sanding of the filler. Here you can see that it is primered again after sanding the first layer off, so the metal that's exposed won't rust. You can also see that I've started to form the ears properly, still a lot more work to do on those though.

I think I am going to build a couple more of these, so far it's been a lot of fun and I have a few different ideas about paint shemes and designs I want to try, maybe sell a few, I don't know. But it has been FUN.

ALMOST DONE FABRICATING!!! Here are some updates I just fineshed welding the ears on after removing them and rebuilding them. I didn't like the way they looked so I redid them. I have now set of my smoke detecter twice in the making of this bucket. The last time being when I cut out the visor section. Now I need a little filler around the ears and clean up the whole thing and PAINT it.

Here are some slow exposure pics with no flash I think the bucket looks beautiful. Somebody HELP ME decide what colour to paint it. Should I do the traditional Boba Fett or should I do it all Black like I was going to do in another thread. I don't know anymore.

Here is the finished bucket up to the primer stage ready to paint. I will be doing esb colours but need to research proper colour charts first. Hope you all like it. I haven't been working on this so much lately because Im making paintball marker shrouds. So if anyone wants an opsgear like kit for their tippmanns, I can build them for you, all metal.

That would go really well with the 16 gauge steel armor I have. I might have to buy one from you some day or maybe trade for a full set of armor.

Here is a little update of my metal bucket, I have started another metal bucket, The first one will be going to my wife, I will be making a custom suit for her and mine will be a esb boba/custom suit.
