Mcquarrie Fett helmet WIP (action figure based)

You're working on that concept Vader for me right? A surprise birthday present? Seriously, you shouldn't have...

That MQ Stormy is wonderful!!! Keep up the great work. Any idea if/when you will be offering these?

Someone on the RPF had a MQ C3PO recently. Man, it sure would be nice to get all these together for some pics...

WOW!! Those are awesome! Incredible work! You sir, are one helluva sculptor!!

I really like that McQuarrie Stormtrooper, you're making me want one!!

Thanks folks.....just to clear up any confusion I did NOT make the Mcquarrie Vader helmet a RPF member JRX did I am just doing all the finish work, assembly and paint apps. It came as a unfinished kit.
As for the stormy helmet I am currently sanding sanding sanding to get it as clean as possible to make the master mold.
The Fett helmet is all bulked out and now Im in the process of getting some symetry to it. I am also trying to figure out how to make the aerators and the RF stalk and top. Ill post some pics of it by the weekend.Next up is a 1:1 Mcquarrie concept chewie. :)

Chewie?! Sweet, saw someone who did one of those on RPF - I guess it was a Puggles Trodd figure, which was based on the McQuarrie Chewie.

I thought you had picked up one of the concept Vaders as well.

Can't wait to see the progress on the concept Fett helmet!!!

Well I know it probably doesnt look much different to you guys but I reworked the face alot and still have a few things to do until Im happy with it.Once that is done the rest will go fast. Still need to decide how to build the aerators as well as the Rf and Rf stalk.
Looks funny until those big aerators get put in place.
Also in the pic is a very early stage rough of the Mcquarrie Chewbacca Bust.No where near done yet.Still have a ton of symetry issues...but hey its early I only have about 3 hours into it so far.
I am hoping to have the first mold done of the Fett helmet then I will do the same thing I am doing with the MQ stormtrooper helmet I am making and sand sand sand it then make a master mold.

Yeah Jason, I am curious too. Was thinking of making a few things and wondered what kind of clay you are using.

...and here I was thinking you were just great at making BF suits - you are a true artist (y)
