Master Replicas LE Helmet

TK Paul

New Hunter
Hi All,

Just joined the site and wanted to say hello. I have a Stormtrooper outfit already and have just purchased a MR LE Boba Fett helemt which I am waiting on.

Just wanted to know if it would be pratical to build an outfit round and how it stands up to other lids.

Cheers,

Paul

yeah, if you search here for master replicas helmets, you'll see a bunch of approaches to fixing it. you'll want a new visor for it, but if you're careful the paint job will remain in tact.

-edit: i've started gathering some of the visor fix threads and linking to them in the FAQ section of the wiki.

be careful handling it... there's no sealer on it, and the silver tends to wear off easily.

One of the best mass produced Star Wars props available, especially considering the complicated paint job. The pinch is easy to fix with a replacement visor. It took me all of an hour to fix and didn't do any permanent damage at all to the helmet. It's a really lovely piece all things being equal. I highly recommend them.

I just got one the other day to, and am studying up on how best to approach fixing it. I gotta say, after seeing pics of these helmets for a long time, I was pleasntly surprised when mine arrived!!!! Much better than I was expecting!! Great bucket!!!

Thanx a bunch Brian!!!!!! :)

I have one and I fully dig it! Fix the pinch and you're set. Some people say to use a hair dryer or heat gun. I've learned that the oven at 225 is the best way. Put it in for about 8 minutes, cover the range finder with a potholder or something and when it comes out it's fullly malluable. Work it, let it cool and then cut the visor to the dimensions. The green visors are too see through. I know where to get the darker smoke/green visors that work best. PM me if you're interested...

It is supposed to be the ESB paint scheme, but it has one extra kill stripe. This is more in line with the PP3 helmet I believe. You can use to create an ESB Fett or the Special Edition Fett. (ESB helmet with ROTJ parts)
