Making templates, need Helmet measurements

Hey guys. I need some measurements. I am looking for the length of the ear piece. I am working on some templates for a fett helmet but I have nothing on hand for size reference. I would like to get it close to movie size. All I have is a DP 97. And that's no good for size reference. As it is now it is almost as big around as my storm trooper helmet. I am thinking that's pretty close but I am not sure. So some measurements would be great. Thanks guys.:D
