LED wiring question...

OK, for my RF I've got 1 red blinking LED and one clear green LED, both connected pos to pos, neg to neg...

When I hook up a 4 x AAA battery pack with the supplied wires they work as they should; when I add a length of wire (with the right polarity) to run thru my RF stalk to the pack, they don't work...

Any idea what gives? is there too much load resistance with the extra wire length for them to work?


Edit- nevermind, used too much solder, they work now...
