KILLSTRIPE DAMAGE COLOR QUESTION
hey guys, well, i am cruising along with the paintjob on my new BM lid, and finished up the back, and moving on to the left side for the earcap there and the killstripes...:) i have been studying Dookie's killstripe stencils, and have noticed in the "main" area of damage, between the 4th and 6th stripe from the front, there is a light greyish color that is different from the silver listed in the color scheme...but that grey color isnt listed...?? is it the same light grey used on the left earcap? is it part of the crack area? so what color are you guys using to paint in that detail? thanks fam...:cheers
oh, and while i am at it, what color are you guys using for the light grey on the left earcap too...:) thanks!
Re: KILLSTRIPE DAMAGE COLOR QUESTION
For the Left earcap I used RLM 76 Light Gray and will use the same for the killstripes.
Re: KILLSTRIPE DAMAGE COLOR QUESTION
The light gray on the left ear is camoflage grey. testors.
Didn't notice that grey in the kill strip area. May be part of the crack which I didn't do.
Re: KILLSTRIPE DAMAGE COLOR QUESTION
cool, guys...thanks for the input...ya, Mike, check out the stencils in Dookie's stencil thread, you'll see it...
Re: KILLSTRIPE DAMAGE COLOR QUESTION
I use Testors Camo Gray on the left ear also.
The lighter gray within the silver damage is part of that crack repair. :thumbsup
