Keeping cool

I have searched the forum but I haven't seen much in the way of implemented plans for keeping cool aside from helmet fans. But I may have missed some search terms (in which case I apologize).

I found these this link just now and I wanted to get some feedback:

http://www.coolingapparel.com/shop/head/HL.html

I am concerned about really heating up between the helmet and the multiple layers of clothing. I am going to post a similar question for the soft goods section as well. If anyone has any ideas other than fans for their helmets please let me know. Especially if you have actually followed through and implemented the idea. Thanks!

i don't do anything other than sweat myself :)

no fans, no cooling vests, etc... i've marched in 80+ degree weather and been ok. pretty thirsty at the end, but ok.

I always need water so I'm probably going to end up putting a camelbak system in my jp somehow so I can drink water while I troop.
