No problem! I'm going to let the helmet cure a few days with the Aluminum paint on it, that way there won't be any marks left from masking tape when it comes to painting many layers of the helmet.

Back Panels masked with "Winsor & Newton Art Masking Fluid" and they were painted with Floquil "Reefer Grey" paint. The liquid mask was removed to show the Testors "Aluminum" paint below.

The next step will be to remask over the silver areas, and then to mask the grey areas so the back panels can be painted with Floquil "Concrete."

Update!!

Back Panels were remasked and were painted Concrete. The next step is to remask the back panels again and paint the correct colour green.

The back panels of the helmet are now completed. They will receive a protective matte finish and I will start on the Dome and Lower Cheeks next.

The dome, upper and lower cheeks are now completed! All that is left on the helmet so far are the mandibles and ears. I hope jedi.paramedic likes the work so far!!
